Mopar 8varttiperä ja vetarin korjauslaakeri

No niin, vetoakselissa havaitun liiallisen kuluman johdosta hommasin siihen tuollaisen korjauslaakerin http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp ... WHELAMS___ ja asensin sen ohjeiden mukaisesti niin, että ulkokehästä jäi noin 6mm (suositus oli 1/4-5/8") akseliputken ulkopuolelle...


Nyt ongelmana on se, että vetoakselipa ei mene riittävän syvälle, saadakseni asennettua c-clipsin paikoilleen

Hyviä ehdotuksia, ennenkuin tehdään isompaa vahinkoa?

 

Tuossa on lainattuna kommentit joita joku aiemmin asentanut on kirjoittanut linkittämällesi sivulle.. Minusta tuossa mainitaaan että noin 1mm laakeri jää ulkopuolelle. Toivottavasti apuja!!

Comments about National Axle Repair Bearing:

Don't follow instructions in repair manuals! Read the instructions that come with the bearing. Here's how to do the job. You MUST have a puller and a seal/bearing installer tool.
This replaces the OEM bearing AND seal the will come out when you use the puller to remove the bearing.
1)Follow OEM instructions for axle removal. (remove diff cover, pin bolt, pin, then c-clips.)
pull axle out of diff CAREFULLY not letting the axle bang around in the diff tube.
2) use a bearing puller to remove old bearing and seal from axle housing (wheel side, not internal axle bearing)
3) clean inside axle tube where bearing was removed.
4)grease up inside axle tube. coat grease with gear oil.
5)tap bearing into the axle tube, soft seal side goes in FIRST since bearing is a stepped cone and matches the inside of the axle. Won't fit all the way in if you install with rubber seal outwards.
6)Make sure bearing is greased thoroughly. Use seal/bearing press to pound bearing in. The bearing will bottom out with about 1mm showing outside of axle. If you don't get it in far enough, your axle will not go in enough and you won't be able to put the C-clips back in.
Using a board and hammer won't push the bearing in far enough. You need something made of soft metal to get these in far enough.
7)Put axle in and check in diff housing to make sure there is enough space to put C-clip back in. If not, then continue pounding bearing in until there is enough space to install C-clip.
8)Install axle, C-clips, pin and pin holder, diff cover and gear oil. Follow OEM instructions for installing axle.
9)good luck, this does not contian every detail and a good bit of mechanical experience required.

 

Otettu seuraava koko lekasta ja asennettu laakeri syvemmälle , aika näyttää, onko kuinka pian aihetta etsiä toinen vetoakseli...
